How the MCP works

Pengo answers your agent in the window you already have open — the booth list, the scores, the people, the spend.

Which stands at MEDICA are worth my Tuesday?

pengo · list_exhibitors

Kardia SystemsHall 12 · B4192

Sells cardiac telemetry into hospital groups — your buyer, named.

Nordwind MedtechHall 9 · C1887

Distributes monitoring hardware across DACH clinics.

Vitalis CareHall 12 · A0781

Runs 40 outpatient sites; buys software centrally.

pengo · mark_booth

Three marked go. 38 more score above 70.

Connect it once

One command, or one address pasted into a connector. Works anywhere MCP does.

1.Run this in your terminal

Once, from anywhere. The user scope puts it in every project you open.

claude mcp add \
  --scope user \
  --transport http \
  pengo https://api.trypengo.com/mcp

2.Sign in once

Run /mcp, choose pengo, and approve in the browser. It can then read your fairs, booths, people and spend — and mark a booth go, skip or visited. Nothing else: no drafting, no posting, no purchases.

Your agent sees one account — yours. There is no key to paste and none to rotate: access is the sign-in, and revoking it is a press in your account.

The six tools

Five of them read. One records what you decided about a booth.

list_events

The fairs this account tracks, soonest first — with the fit score, whether somebody is going, and how much has been found.

get_event

One fair in full: dates, venue, the sources the research actually read, how far it got, and what it has cost.

list_exhibitors

The stands in a fair's directory, best fit first, with the hall and booth number exactly as published.

list_attendees

Speakers, panelists and stand contacts, with a LinkedIn profile only where one was read. No email addresses.

get_spend

What the account spent today against its cap, and how many research jobs ran, queued or are in flight.

mark_booth

The one tool that writes: go, skip, visited, or back to undecided. It never edits what the research found.

From a directory to a walk route

  1. 1
You buy a fair's exhibitor list

In the app, once, at a stated price. The research reads the directory to its end and profiles every company on it.

  2. 2
Scoring judges it against who you sell to

A number and a reason, per stand — the one part of Pengo that is your opinion rather than a shared fact.

  3. 3
Your agent reads all of it

Over MCP, in whatever window you already have open, and marks the route as you decide it.

What it will not do

Worth saying plainly, because an agent with a connector is a thing people are right to be careful with.

  • It spends nothing. Every purchase is a press in the app, against a stated price.
  • It starts no research. The tools read what has already been paid for.
  • It sends nothing to anybody — no email, no message, no post.
  • It reads one account: yours. Nothing another customer bought is reachable through it.

Ask your agent
what is worth walking to
